I had no idea that DalyShow was a thing or that this episode would be the greatest thing. I was rolling. Kinda weak closing act though.
Dr minisode was alright, seems like a return to more standard Doctor Who acting/writing/melodrama. Forgot that there was a transitional regeneration of the Dr in there - that puts him two over his limit now, right?
The Daly Show is pretty good. Usually they have their own kooky stories, but that one kind of ended up doing quotes from "the thing" as read by that "that guy from that thing." Still fun though.
If 1's regeneration into 2 was the first one (an assumption in and of itself), then 8's regeneration into The War Doctor was the eighth, WD's into 9 was the the ninth, and 11's into 12 will be the 12th.
That's assuming 8->WD counts despite the witch's brew, the faux regeneration in "Journey's End" doesn't, and Let's Kill Hitler also doesn't fuck with the numbers.

Ooohhhkay I was counting Capaldi wrong. Still, this being the Time War, plenty of room for alternate 9s, 10s & so on. Plus whoever's behind door #11.
...although, yeah, at this point it's probably the War Doctor.
I guess you could have a whole Doctor Who series that covers Doctors from Hurt to Eccleston*.
